PPL Founder Joe Selvaggio 1937-2024
PPL is saddened to announce that our founder, Joe Selvaggio, passed away peacefully earlier this week at the age of 87. Joe lived a life of deep commitment. He was a social entrepreneur, an activist, a doer, an influencer and much, much more. Our work reflects who he was. He will be deeply missed.
“On behalf of the entire PPL Family and the thousands of lives Joe impacted over many, many years, we celebrate and honor all that Joe was. Joe's spirit and work is at the core of what PPL is all about-- pride, dignity, self-reliance, the ability to take the next step. We are grateful to have walked with Joe. Joe, in the words of a beautiful Bahamian spiritual, "We Bid You Goodnight."

There will be a Celebration of Life, followed by a luncheon, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Saturday, September 21, at 11:00 (visitation beginning at 9:30).
