PPL is a strong advocate for cultivating talent within the organization, we believe promoting internally helps build a culture of growth and development and reinforces the great work we do at PPL every day. We are proud to announce three internal promotions and one ‘new’ hire!
Scott Cordes has been promoted to COO (Chief Operating Officer). His exceptional service of eight years at PPL, knowledge, and alignment of the operations of the organization make him a perfect choice as our new COO. He will also serve as second in command.
Second, María Pabón Gautier has been promoted to CPO (Chief People Officer). Maria’s ability to transform, train and educate our most precious resource, humans – whether internal or external, make her an outstanding choice to help support, elevate and uplift the excellent work being done in career readiness.
Third, Mara Hennen has been promoted to CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and is a new member of the executive team. Mara has led the Financial Planning & Analysis team and worked hard to integrate the broader finance team with housing operations to stabilize our housing portfolio, and we have seen positive results due to her leadership.
We are pleased to announce that Gabe Philibert will be dropping the ‘interim’ word from his title as he has been selected as our new Vice President of Real Estate Development and Asset Management. Gabe has been serving in an interim capacity since September and officially begins his permanent position this month. Gabe brings almost 20 years of banking, finance, and development experience from the private sector and will bring an innovative and disciplined approach to our housing development and asset preservation work.
Rounding out and completing the executive team includes our incredible and dedicated leaders Rashida Jackson, Vice President of Housing Operations; Andriana Abariotes, Senior Vice President of Development and External Affairs; and Antonio Cardona, Vice President of Career Readiness.
As we look toward the future, we are thrilled to continue—and build upon—the transformative work this outstanding group of leaders (and the entire PPL team) brings to our region.
