The Aon Apprenticeship Program is a 2-year program that prepares participants for employment at Aon while earning an Associate degree. This program is a collaboration between Aon, Normandale Community College, and Project for Pride in Living. Apprentices engage in coursework at Normandale Community College to earn an Associate of Science (AAS) Marketing and Management with Human Resource Management Certificate while simultaneously working at Aon.

Future Programs

Start your career with Hennepin County through PPL’s 7-week Office Specialist Pathway! Polish your resume, interviewing, and clerical skills in a small classroom setting, while participating in Hennepin County trainings and networking opportunities to prepare for Office Specialist roles. Starting pay at Hennepin County is $21.50/hour with competitive benefits and opportunities to advance.
Begin your career as a Phlebotomist! The 10-week Phlebotomy program will train you to draw blood and work in the medical field through hands on training with PPL and North Hennepin Community College. During the program, participants will engage in a 100-hour clinical experience with Allina Health or M Health Fairview to prepare for the ASCP Board Exam and a future career in Phlebotomy.
Start your career in maintenance and facilities management with the Building Operations Technician training program! This 10-month training program prepares you for Maintenance Technician roles through curriculum with PPL and Minneapolis College. Gain hands-on experience in plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and more with the opportunity to obtain your Special Boilers License and OSHA 30. Participate in a paid, 2-week job shadow to prepare yourself for employment following the program.
Start your career in Human Services by building communication, computer, and professional skills while earning college credits! The Human Services Pathway is an 8-month program that will prepare you for a career in Human Services through coursework from Project for Pride in Living and Normandale Community College. Gain 10 college credits while engaging in individualized coursework and training. You will have opportunities to connect with and learn about positions with our employer partners for the program - Dakota, Hennepin, and Ramsey Counties.
Begin your career in IT as an IT Support Specialist! Participate in this 6-month program to earn your Google IT Support Professional Certificate, while networking with employers in the IT field. Engage in trainings to build resume, interviewing, and job searching skills to prepare for your IT career following the program.
Advance your career in healthcare through PPL’s Healthcare Plus program! This 6-month program prepares you for Patient Care Technician and Remote Observation Assistant roles in a hospital setting. Engage in coursework with Project for Pride in Living and Minneapolis College, while participating in a job shadow experience at Abbott Northwestern Hospital to prepare you for employment following the program.
